  1. How does Paul describe the lives of the Ephesian Christians before they came to faith in Jesus? How does that describe our life before Christ?
  2. Many people try to blame their sin on the influence of the world or believe that "the devil made me do it." What's Paul's answer to this in verse 3?
  3. What is God's ultimate purpose in our salvation (verse 7)?
  4. Note the word grace used in this passage. What other words does Paul use in this passage to describe God's actions towards the lost?
  5. How are grace and faith related to our salvation?

  3. What are the spiritual blessings Christians receive in Christ? What are some spiritual blessings you have received from being in Christ?
