The last week has been agonizing as the weather prediction has fluctuated by the hour. As we arrive at the fateful day it appears likely we will get a significant amount of snow. There will be two bands of winter storm. The first band will hit tonight and may bring an inch or two of snow. The second band will hit tomorrow night and could bring several inches up to a foot of snow (or even NOTHING!).

In considering all the options, we have opted for a mini-Winter Weekend this weekend: Snowed in with Jesus! We’ll start at 5:30 pm, January 23 and end at 3:00 pm on January 24. This end time will allow roads to be cleared after the first band but before the second band of snow. The cost for this weekend will be FREE as someone has graciously donated some money that should cover the cost of food.

THEN, we will have the full Winter Weekend in March (most likely March 6-8, though I’m still working on the details). This allows us to still have an event this weekend, but also still have our event at Baptist Hill at a later date.

I will be reaching out next week regarding payments made for Winter Weekend. You’ll have the option to apply your Winter Weekend registration to the rescheduled Winter Weekend in March, apply to a future youth event, or receive a refund.
